Good morrow fellow fauna friends!

I would like to share what I have been doing for the past few days, why I have been doing it, and what benefits {if any} I have experienced.

So, I'll tell you my dirty little secret dirty little secret Don't tell anyone or you'll be just another regret just another regret My dirty little secret... ugh, I'm sorry, I haven't heard that song in years, I don't know why I still remember it.

What is Nagna yoga you may ask?

Naked yoga. ooooooo how scandalous

Basically, I was doing some yoga and it got increasingly hot in the room and I didn't want to sweat at that moment so I took my pants and shirt off so I was just in my bra and undies.  I have a full length mirror that I happened to look in.  I was in Warrior 2 and I remembered seeing something about people doing yoga naked and so I did it.  I removed my undergarments and continued to practice yoga...naked.

It was so empowering to rid myself of all the burdens and restraints of everyday life.  Each breath brought me closer and closer to nirvana.  Cliche', I know, but it was true.  I had never felt that peace about myself before.  I feel like I am healed. Mostly.  Yeah, sure, sometimes I feel a little shitty {for lack of a better word} about myself, but as I quickly glanced in the mirror in all my naked glory, the bits and pieces of muscle poking out of my skin, the lumps and bumps on my upper thighs, my rounded belly, I saw myself for what I truly am: a kind, compassionate, beautiful woman.

Bonjour!
Comment ca va?

Hope you all are très bien!

Haha, sorry, I'm taking a French class!

{so if anyone fluent in French wants a pen pal, let me know!}

Alright, so todays topic is making the voice in your head stfu
OR
changing that voice altogether
It IS possible to change the berating, self-hating voice inside your head to one of praise and love.

• I get out of breath real quick.  Cassey Ho I am not.
• I needa do something with my hair cause its lookin real silly
• I love my leggings {got 'em from Donna Jo Fitwear}
• When I move into my new place {less than a week! So excited!} I will need to have a kickass workout area!
• I said Crab Dicks {and I refuse to apologize!}

Hey guys!  It is 7:00am right now and I just checked my levels: 95.  Which is high.  Anything below 99 is supposed to be in the clear, but I feel like 95 is way too close to 99 to be okay.

I scheduled a blood test for tomorrow at 3:20, so I will post the results when I get them {probably next week sometime.}

Alright, on to the fun stuff now!

I implemented Rack Pulls into my workout yesterday.  For anyone who doesn't know, this bad boy is a rack pull:
There is nothing to it, really. It's like half a deadlift.  A lot of people seem to hate on them, but I really liked how they felt.  It killed my glutes! Is that normal?  Anywho I did, as this Squat Challenge often requires, 2 sets of 10; 2x5; 3x3; and 3x1.  And I got up to...

Hey guys! I am working on a new vlog that I will be posting either on here or on youtube soon!

But, I also have some bad news.

This might turn into a rather lengthy story...

I bruise easily

You guuuuuuuuys I missed a couple of days!  Ugh, I know, I'm the worst!

That means I have to report on days 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7...and do all those poems. But
So I think I'm just gonna pretend like I never took a little poetry hiatus.

Oh, but I should point out that besides Thursday, I haven't skipped squats since I started Monday.  So that's cool!

Also, I got a squat and deadlift PR today!! 150lbs {for both.  I know, my squats and deads are the same..}  pretty happy with the 5lb progress, though.  It's something at least!!

Anywho...Iiiiiiiiiits Poetry Tiiiiiime {get it? Like, Adventure Time? huh? HUH?}

Day 3{ish}- Find the nearest book (of any kind). Turn to page 8. Use the first ten full words on the page in a poem. You may use them in any order, anywhere in the poem.
Hot oil is the key to crunchy fried chicken, but {found in my mother's Cooks Country magazine}

Creamy milk is the key to smooth mashed potatoes,
A bit of water is the key to splatter-proof bacon,
Hot oil is the key to crunchy fried chicken,
A golden-brown turkey is the key to Thanksgiving,

My friend over at Taylor's Pages posts a quote every Monday. So as a shout-out to her, I am going to post this quote for today:

"Like fillies, they jump and buck, overjoyed with their first feel of freedom. Then, suddenly, they collapse and cannot get up. They can only lie there, trying to breathe, their bodies racked with pain from abuse and neglect on the factory farms."

This quote was found in a PETA article {now, I don't really like PETA for various reasons, but this article was a very important, very heartfelt read} and is referring to the pigs post-transport to the slaughterhouse when they are herded out of the trucks and, despite being severely weakened from the trip, they are so overjoyed to not be in such a small, stuffy space that they actually run around.  Unfortunately, though, not for long as their legs often give out on them and they collapse.  And then they are shot with a bolt to the head, often times not dying, and then boiled alive.  All for a meal for us humans.

I'm sorry for ending a post like this, especially when I haven't been writing as much, but I just get so saddened when I really think about what goes on behind slaughterhouse walls.  It sickens me.  So, I must go.  I will hopefully post more tomorrow.  I have a few videos I'm working on for the next couple of posts, so I'm gonna work on those later today.
